Dr. Monica Sarrat was trained in the field of Nursing prior to obtaining her Master’s Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Yo San University in 2004. She also received her Doctorate in Acupuncture (DAC) with a focus in Integrative Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. This background has given her the ability to integrate both Eastern and Western treatment modalities to insure her patients receive the highest standard of care.
Dr. Sarrat’s passion lies in treating women’s health conditions- from menstrual disorders, infertility and pregnancy, to menopause. She has experience treating couples naturally to those using Artificial Reproductive Techniques (ART) to become pregnant, as well as working with local Reproductive Endocrinologists and IVF clinics. She has also had the opportunity to train under some of the top Chinese Medicine Gynecology and Fertility specialists in the world along with doing a post-graduate gynecology certification program at the Chengdu University & Hospital in China. It was there that she saw first hand how truly Eastern and Western medicine can complement one another, especially in the field of fertility. Dr. Sarrat is dedicated to helping men and women optimize their chances of fertility and achieve their dreams of having healthy babies.
Dr. Sarrat is also a registered yoga instructor and is certified in Yoga for Fertility. She offers Knoxville workshops to teach couples different breathing techniques, yoga postures, meditations, and nutritional counseling to help boost fertility. She has also done extensive research and given lectures on the treatment of Breast Implant Illness.
Dr. Monica is pleased to be certified in Soliman Auricular Allergy Treatment (SAAT). Living in Knoxville, which is ranked in the country’s top 10 for highest allergy cases, this treatment has been a life changer for many people in our community. She treats people suffering from Alpha-Gal Syndrome, seasonal allergies, food & environmental allergies, as well as Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) with great success.
